We all want to be closer to God
What if it is as simple as reflecting on His names?
Knowing God intimately by His names is how we begin to fix our eyes on Jesus. As you know Him better, you cannot help but fall more in love with Him.
“And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” (Colossians 3:17, ESV).
In the Bible, to know someone is the highest form of intimacy. God wants us to pursue Him as He does with us. It all starts by knowing His names.
When we reflect on His names, think of it more like a revolving door than a book we read and finish. Knowing God is not a one and done, you must submit and let Him wash over you.
As we keep coming back around to the familiar names, more is revealed, and we mature.
The signatures of God are everywhere throughout the Bible, even in places we have not yet discovered.
