I heard the story of a woman who died on the altar while praying. Few months to her death, she had been diagnosed of a terminal disease at its end stage. Knowing she had few days left, she decided to spend her last moments with God. Everyday, she would head to a local church and pray for hours.
One day, she didn’t return home.
At her funeral, the officiating pastor commented;
“Our sister spent her last card with the Lord, which is great ! I will however like to charge everyone to spend their first card with the lord, cos we might never get the chance to spend the last one.
Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, “I find no pleasure in them” (Eccl 12:1, NIV)
