A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. (John 13:34, ESV)

Is it possible to love someone and not like them? I feel the answer would fall in line with the idea that once you truly have the love of Jesus for someone, even if that person is an enemy of your heart, “liking” no longer plays a factor in the equation. Love cancels out "like.” Jesus’ love inside us at its purest, goes way beyond "liking,” and we no longer have to define it as such.

Loving your enemy is difficult. Jesus never said it would be easy. However, let’s not overcomplicate it. Try to love as Jesus did, with no compilations.
