When did you join Medium? Why did you join?
July 2024. I joined Medium because I wanted to finally take this dream and desire I have to be a writer seriously.
When did you join Koinonia? What attracted you to the publication?
I joined in August of 2024, I believe. I was looking for a publication that shared my beliefs and values and Koinonia fit the bill!
How long have you been writing and how did you come to it?
I have been writing on and off for the last 10 years. I have two books self-published on Amazon but have never taken my writing seriously for an extended period of time. Up until this point, it’s been a journey of starts and stops. I came to writing because of my love of reading that was instilled in my by mother at a young age.
I graduated with a degree in English Lit from the University of Oklahoma with grand plans of being a writer. Then life happened and although the dream peeked its head up every now and again, by a large it’s been set to the side. I am now 35, married for 10 years with 3 kids and realizing my dreams aren’t just…
