When did you join Medium? Why did you join?
July 2024, because I had so much material I had collated over the years about encouraging young people to reach their potential — 150 blogs, to be precise. So, I decided to rewrite some of these and share the content.
When did you join Koinonia? What attracted you to the publication?
Around September/October 2024. I read a few posts which I enjoyed, and wanted a Christian publisher.
How long have you been writing and how did you come to it?
On and off for about 30 years. I originally had the idea to write a story to motivate young people. This eventually provided the resources for life skills workshops I ran in the1990s and early 2000s in southern Africa where we lived, later in New Zealand after we emigrated in 1999. Then I got into promoting the spirit of mentoring and had four education-related books published in New Zealand in the early 2000s. After I retired, I felt God calling me to get back to writing. Wipf & Stock, US publishers, kindly offered to publish one book, and this then became five books in as many years, with one final book due out in 2025.
