Psalm 77 — A Poem

Poetic version of a Psalm

Photo by Marc Bustier on Unsplash

I closed my eyes and sought to remember when You were there for me?
I cried out to You; I cried out to You. But You left me in my need.
Distressed and at the end of my rope, I sought You once again.
With outstretched arms and untiring hands, I lie face down in my sin.
