“Yes, do!” the princess replied. So the girl went and called the baby’s mother. “Take this baby and nurse him for me,” the princess told the baby’s mother. “I will pay you for your help.” So the woman took her baby home and nursed him. (‭‭Exodus‬ ‭2:8‭-‬9‬ , NLT‬)‬

The first part of Exodus 2 (please read) sheds light on how baby Moses was rescued by Pharaoh's daughter at the Nile River.

When she needed someone to nurse the baby, Moses’ mother was recommended, and she hired her unknowingly.

In summary, Moses’ mother got paid for taking care of her own child. A job she was born to do, and could do free.

There is nothing as fulfilling as living a life of purpose, and if we get paid for it, we are highly favoured.

God can make both happen!
