Romance continues: our family begins.

Keep your love on fire.

Overcoming the first years in marriage was the hardest.

Those years behind us, we’re going forward.

We’ve learned of each other’s quirky ways.

The new gift through a wonderful romance.

God blessed our family with a perfect gift.

We’ve heard so much of coming days

When the baby is born and we all go home.

Both parents become tired.

In their new nightly schedules.

Momma’s body will heal.

You’ll both find time for one another.

You’ll keep your love on fire in due time.

Don’t let the flame go out.

All your adventures in family are joyful.

The momma and father are so thrilled.

Being excited wondering what their child will be?

A big baby boy or a sweet dainty girl?

Right now, big waves of emotions come.

Oh my! “It’s the emotional roller coaster.”

Momma will ride the ups and downs.

It’s been more than expected.

Hopefully, this will soon pass.

She will get over these moods.

Praying for wonderful days ahead.

Her husband wonders at each glance what her body goes through.

Momma can tell by what’s she’s experiencing.

“It’s surely not him on the roller coaster.”

“I’d be happy to share if only I could.”

Long behold, he’s complaining of pain.

What do you know! Could it be?

“Does a man feel pain when a mother is pregnant?”

He won’t take my pain lightly.

He won’t understand.

Now, we both are in this together.

As a nervous husband and hungry wife.

Time to get started with colors and decorating.

All needs are done for the baby’s room.

“Let’s make it both colors-blue and pink.”

“We’ll decide later to change or keep.”

Our lives first started as husband and wife.

Through our blissful romance.

God has given blessings in our union.

In the gift He provided.

Will all be cherished each day.

Contractions are now coming.

It’s time to make preparations.

A baby bag needed and fully packed.

Husband holding his wife closely.

As he gets her in the car.

He forgets one main thing.

Poor guy, so excited and nervous.

The diaper bag is of great importance.

Time to go back after the bag.

Driving Momma to see the midwife.

Getting to the delivery room.

Where the mother stays to relax awhile.

Until the birthing time comes.

The midwife says to her, “Start breathing slowly.”

Each contraction comes right after the other.

Getting stronger and stronger.

The mother breathes deeper.

She frantically pushes forward.

As her husband holds her hand.

The midwife says, “You can stop pushing now.”

“You both are proud parents of a precious baby girl!”

The mother realized the pain was unbearable.

By looking into her daughter’s face.

“It’s was love at first sight and joy each parent felt.”

The pain she went through having her baby.

Gave her so much love to her sweet baby girl.

As Mother and Father expressed much love and joy.

Their gift God gave through their blissful marriage!
