The Mystery Of The Palm Tree

The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. (Psalms 92:12, NIV)

There is almost no part of the palm tree that is not useful. From its leaves and barks used as building materials to its fruits used as food and beauty products,. Almost every home has something from it.

The palm tree has deep roots with remarkable longevity.

No wonder the bible compares our flourishing to that of a Palm tree.

• Every aspect of our lives can be used for God’s glory, even the inconspicuous ones.
• Like the palm tree, our impact can be far-reaching, even to the next generation.

But we need to be rooted in Christ for this to happen.
