This vase of joy and beauty,
fount of endless wisdom,
splendid beyond measure;
our counselor in the nighttime.

Centerpiece of our affections,
this vase of joy and beauty,
the source of all that’s lovely;
splendid beyond measure.

The self-sacrificed servant,
centerpiece of our affections.
Sinless ransom for sinners;
the source of all that’s lovely

Captain of Heaven’s armies.
The self-sacrificed servant,
unconquered by oppressors.
Sinless Ransom for sinners

The Lord, the King, our Savior.
Captain of Heaven’s armies,
rules with truth and mercy;
unconquered by oppressors.

Our resurrected North Star,
The Lord, the King, our Savior.
Songs of victory giver,
rules with truth and mercy.

Our hope of eternal glory,
our resurrected North Star;
true Son of the Father,
songs of victory giver.

He is both Lamb and Lion;
Eternal Son, Creator.
This vase of joy and beauty,
splendid beyond measure.
