What Does It Mean to Be Blessed?
What Jesus said about it might surprise you
“Blessed” generally describes someone, something, or some place that God favors.
If God favors one, then one is empowered to succeed and prosper in all areas of life. At least in the Old Testament. There are many examples I could cite, but one that really sums it up is the first Psalm:
