What Every Christian Creative and Content Creator Needs to Remember
A lesson from the Psalms
How this started
A little while back I wrote an article for my fellow content creators. In it, I presented a way we can effectively maximize our time and increase productivity. I plan to produce more content to support this very important audience in the coming months. Consider today as one of those days.
But let me first tell you how I got here.
For about the past week I’ve been reading the Psalms for my morning devotions. Yesterday I spent time in Psalm 147. In it, the psalmist spends time giving the reader a variety of reasons why God deserves praise.
I’m sure I’ve read this Psalm before, but this time two verses, in particular, stuck out.
Verses 10 and 11 say,
He takes no pleasure in the strength of a horse or in human might. No, the LORD’s delight is in those who fear him, those who put their hope in his unfailing love. (Psalm 147:10–11, NLT)
As I focused on these verses, a sobering truth stood out that all Christians who are actively using their gifts need to remember.
