When God Is Silent But Your Problems Are Loud

Cling to faith, plug your ears, and keep praying

Not once, have You not heard my every prayer.

Each time I’ve cried, aloud or silently, You’ve heard.

My recurrent sorrow on bended knee, You’ve heard.

My heavy heart burdened, beating in pain, You’ve heard.

Not once, ever, have You not heard.

Yet, hearing, You’ve remained silent.

You’ve not replied, even though You’ve heard.

So in tears, I ask again and again.

For my heart knows as I walk with You that You hear.

I keep following You, waiting for You, loving You.

Why? Because I know that someday soon You will answer.

I know that someday You will fulfill all the things I’ve hoped for.

Yes, this trusting soul knows You and believes in You.

It never doubts, even once, that You have not heard its prayers.
