I started writing by sharing on my social media platform. I would then check back to see if anyone had read and liked my story.

Most often, I would only get a few likes from family and friends. Sometimes I wouldn’t get any. So, I concluded that I was not making much sense.

Shortly after I stopped posting, one of my readers reached out to check on me. According to her, she had missed reading my stories.

I learnt from this event that when people do not physically appreciate us, it does not mean they don’t in reality.

And even when no one seems to recognise us, God does.

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up (Galatians 6:9, NIV)
