Why Settle For Half of The Truth?

The Apostle Paul wrote:
For the wages of sin is death,
If this is all there is then there is no hope, because we have all done things wrong and the consequence is clear.
But Paul didn’t stop there; the verse continues:
but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6: 23, NIVUK)
God didn’t leave us without hope. He offers us life. This life is not dependent on our efforts, it rests solely on what Jesus did — dying for us and rising again. This life that God offers starts now and continues into eternity.
Paul didn’t stop halfway through this verse and we shouldn’t either.
God wants us to know the truth, the whole truth, and to live in the light of it.
