On behalf of Koinos Group I’d like to wish everyone Happy Holidays and thank you for being a part of this community.

It’s easy to get caught up in the technical details of Koinos, especially when you have as many exciting features as Koinos does, but it’s important to remember that what we’re really building here is a decentralized organization of people; a community. Koinos is a tool that we, as a community, have built and will continue to improve to serve our mission to make the world more open, transparent and fair by accelerating decentralization through accessibility.

Big Wins

We’ve had a lot of big wins recently from the launch of mainnet, to its complete decentralization, and the listing of KOIN on MEXC. But what makes these developments so exciting is that Koinos is now ready to scale to the masses.

The world’s first truly free-to-use blockchain is LIVE, it’s truly decentralized, and thanks to the listing, developers who want to build decentralized applications with no barriers to entry can finally acquire the tokens they need to power free usage of the Koinos blockchain.

With Koinos main net live and fully decentralized, Koinos Group is just another developer within the larger Koinos ecosystem, but we understand that our unique position, expertise, and back story present both obstacles and opportunities for us as company. We know that we have to hold ourselves to the highest possible standard because people will always look at us as the inventors of Koinos. We also know that we have uniquely valuable insights into the nature of Koinos that provide us with a potentially unfair advantage.

Building a Successful COMPANY

Our goal now is to figure out how we can leverage our competitive advantages and unique position to benefit ALL Koinos developers while at the same time helping to grow the Koinos ecosystem, and generate revenue for the company so that we can continue to add value to the ecosystem for decades to come, regardless of market conditions.

I’m not exaggerating when I say that we have been thinking about how to solve that exact problem for nearly 3 years now, but I now have no doubt that we can do it. It won’t be easy, but we did invent Koinos, and that was a much harder problem to solve.

But Koinos wouldn’t be anything without you all. Quite literally. Without the valuable contributions from community developers, and passionate advocates helping to spread the word about Koinos, we would never have been able to get this far.

That being said, there is still a long road ahead. The world is only getting more corrupt and unfair, and blockchain technology is still just a niche product serving mostly speculators. It’s a big mistake to think that adoption of this technology will simply happen. We need to force it to happen by using it to deliver products and services that blow everything else out of the water. We are in the midst of a global crisis in trust.

The Antidote to Corruption

The global economy is run by massive centralized institutions and organizations that people DO NOT TRUST because they are plagued with corruption. We can deliver products and services that can be trusted because they are trustLESS. Such products are infinitely better, and more valuable, than those currently on the market.

Once people have trustless options with a delightful user experience, there will be a torrent of adoption. But as of now, those options simply don’t exist, so it’s no surprise that the adoption hasn’t occurred.

We’ve built the foundation, but now it’s time to build the whole structure. It won’t be easy, but at least now we have a new and powerful weapon in our arsenal: Koinos.
