Kollect Testnet Maintenance Announcement
In order to provide better service and environment for Kollectors, Kollect testnet will be updated and under maintenance for 8 hours.
Maintenance Period
December 28th, 2021 4AM UTC ~ 12PM UTC
Maintenance Updates
1. Your cards and collection book data will remain the same. (You will have to follow some additional steps. These steps will be added to the testnet guide.)
2. Dummy $KOL & Dummy $ETH in your wallet will be reset but you can continue to claim more through the faucet.
3. Dummy $KOL contract address will be updated. Please refer to the updated Dummy $KOL contract address found on the testnet guide following the end of the maintenance.

How to Continue Your Testnet Experience
Due to the Testnet Update, you will need to take a few steps in order to migrate the assets earned during your previous testnet journey. If you do not follow the directions, you will have to restart your work from the beginning. (Unpacking, synthesis, staking in collections)
Resetting Metamask
- Go to settings. Click on the logo of your MetaMask account in the top right corner of your MetaMask window. Then click on ‘Settings.’
2. Press ‘Advanced.’ Then press ‘Reset Account.’
Insert new $KOL address in Metamask
- Open Kollect Testnet.
- Open MetaMask. Click the MetaMask extension in the top right corner.
3. Press ‘Import tokens’ found towards the bottom of your MetaMask extension.
4. Add New ‘Dummy KOL’ Token Contract Address: 0x6D17619E7A70Df209a5f27c392aD7eC07e417b25 (The rest of part gets filled automatically once $KOL address is added at “Token Contract Address.”
5. Press ‘Add Custom Token’ when you are done adding the token address.
Restart Kollect Testnet
- Login Kollect Testnet using your Metamask account.
- Check if the testnet data is linked correctly with your account.
- *If the screen is blank or it loads slow, please exit the browser and open Kollect Testnet with a new brower.
