New Route for Kollect’s Journey to the Metaverse
Overview
Our team started Kollect with one vision — to ramify the fantasies around our favorite collectibles and toys. We have been focusing our effort on instilling life and fun in the existing NFTs. Everything began as a digital expansion of all the what-ifs that we imagined in our minds while growing up: What if Superman and Batman fought? Who would win? What if my toys had hidden magical powers waiting to be awakened? What if when I complete the collection, my collectibles suddenly turn magical.
However, sometimes our best didn’t prove to be enough, and our imaginations failed to capture the community’s demand for supporting us. So, after long contemplation and discussion with our most zealous Kollectors, we have decided to shift the order of our journey and reroute.
Focus Shift: World of Cards
We feel it is in our communities’ and overall NFT communities’ best interest for Kollect to provide a playground where all NFTs are empowered beyond what they are now. Kollect team believes that Web 3.0 is about expanding the horizon of scalability and utility of user’s data. A single project cannot achieve this alone. That’s why we have to collaborate with multiple projects. As we are a gaming company, to begin with, we believe that our priority should be providing a virtual universe where all NFTs can meet and play. Therefore, the Kollect team will deliver the World of Card game before all the other features we have promised our community.
World of Cards is a metaverse where all of your NFTs can find their full potential. It is where your Ape can compete with other Apes or Dragons and Mekas from different universes. Our focus and priorities have shifted as we understand our communities' demand for the launch of WOC as soon as possible. As a gaming company, the Kollect Team will deliver the World of Card game before all other features we have promised our community.
This means that Munchie Kings Holders will be able to faster realize their Kollect NFTs potential by integrating into the game and beginning their quest to become the munchie King while also being rewarded!
2.) Token Burn
In order to compensate our early supporters that have bought and held onto KOL, we have decided to burn 20% of $KOL’s circulating supply over the coming six months.
