Hey there, Kollectors!

We are trying to bring you the absolute best technology & user experience, but due to congestion concerns from our third-party auditing agencies, the Kollect.Cards team has decided it is in our community’s best interest to delay the Power Rangers NFT mint scheduled for March 8th, 2022 until all audits have been complete.

Kollect.Cards will bring you an updated timeframe as soon as this information becomes available. The team at Kollect.Cards want to express our sincere apologies to our incredible community. We know that you have been looking forward to our first NFT sale for quite some time, but as things currently stand, we would rather delay the sale and risk upsetting our community, than rush into our first sales without having been audited multiple times.

Benefits of the sale delay

Multiple positive things come out of this delay: Kollect.Cards can get audited by not one, but multiple trusted third-party audit agencies, more community members will have the time they need to prepare for the sale, the Kollect team will have more time to create & distribute resources that will help the community get more educated about the project!

Additionally, we understand the importance of having a native marketplace up and ready so secondary sales can commence smoothly right away. Our technical team is working hard to finalize tests on our marketplace and get it audited! With the delay in sales, our team plans to make it up to users through a richer user experience via the launch of the Marketplace service at the same time Power Ranger NFT sales go live.

The Kollect.Cards team hates a delay as much as you do, but we remain committed to delivering a world-class minting, collection, and P2E experience while pursuing the absolute cutting edge of Polygon’s capabilities alongside our growing team of tech partners.

It will be worth the wait!

There is nothing fundamentally wrong with the Kollect Platform, and our game studio continues to make increasingly rapid progress toward our roadmap goals. But after carefully considering the importance of Collectables to Collectors, it is clear that the audit and security process should not be rushed.

This is the right move to make for our community. Rushing into a highly anticipated NFT mint without 100% confidence in security would be a disservice to the community that has made this possible in the first place, & give our metaverse project a bad reputation.

Conclusion: more giveaways!

The Kollect.Cards team hopes you understand that this was a difficult decision to make. On one hand, we have to consider prevailing market forces that are outside of our control, such as the congestion audit agencies are facing as well as the overall crypto bear market. On the other hand, we realize that our community has been looking forward to and preparing for this sale for weeks.

Our team will always choose what’s best for our community’s health, and the long-term success of our project over a deadline, and we hope you understand.

We know you all will have questions (like ‘wen new drop?’) and we want to answer them as soon as possible. So, next week, we will be announcing a new drop date, in addition to multiple giveaways, airdrops, and campaigns we can’t wait to tell you more about!
