Chef Showdown V — Event Recap

When I first founded Komeeda, my goal was to bring people together for fun times, over great food. Since launching our marketplace three months back, our “Kommunity” has been growing on the digital end, and we wanted to bring these people together in real life to encounter each other, to eat with each other and for us to strengthen our kommunity for future dining experiences.

One way of bringing our foodie members together is the Chef Showdown. This quarterly event features three self-made chefs who want to a platform to feature their culinary skills to our foodie kommunity. An evening of kommunity building involves bringing together food lovers and food makers, and giving them a platform to interact and be judges to help us choose the newest Chef Showdown Champion!

This past Thursday (September 22, 2016), Chefs Dania Robley-Lehi, Alexander Magloire II & Elijah Dalager put on an amazing display of culinary skill at BKLYN Commons and served over 100 plates of veggie and meaty bites for a culinary critique. When it was all said and done, Chef Alexander Magloire II came out as the Kommunity favorite and chosen as the Chef Showdown V champion.
