Team Climate Change
A team for the superheroes
People are doing amazing things for a better future. We want to help them help us, by adding our strengths to their superpowers.
There’s the crazy ones that think that they can change the world. The optimists that, instead of sitting still, are creating new ways for us to live in it. The champions that bring together solutions for their communities. The relentless that persist even when all seems lost. These are our superheroes.
Never has the world needed our action more. More ideas, better ideas. Not only ideas to change the world but also solutions for the inevitable changes that we will have to live with. Now, more than ever, we have to team up with those that are trying to bring these ideas to life.
We want these ideas to matter. We want these projects to have strong concepts and useful strategies so they can have the best possible impact. We want to help them telling a story that will move people to join their causes. We want that everyone can contribute to making these ideas happen.
The world has changed. The environment has changed. Society is changing. We have to change.
We have to change the way we do things together. We can’t continue working by ourselves. Afraid of sharing. Afraid of failing. Making decisions based on guesses. Pretending that we know all the answers. We need to distribute our efforts and take advantage of this amazing resource; the people around us. We need to let others participate. We need to trust in the power of the many. We need to be able to learn from those whom our actions impact the most. We need to let others build better ideas on top of ours.
We at Komuhn have been working with all types of projects, helping designing and building ideas with amazing people, and always pursuing new ways of doing things together. We have seen what happens when we approach collaboration in this way and the powerful effects it has on the teams and in the impact they create. Now we want to give a platform for the superheroes, tackling climate change, to learn how they too, can have all of us on their side making their ideas matter.
Upgrading collaboration for teams tackling #ClimateChange
Our proposal is to team up with the superheroes, dedicated to the #ClimateChange cause, in finding ways of building ideas in a more participative way. We want to create solutions for learning new approaches that can make these ideas stronger and have an even more positive impact.

This is a proposal for What Design Can Do #ClimateAction challenge.
What Design Can Do (WDCD) is a platform for showcasing design as a catalyst of change and as a way of addressing the societal questions of our time. With the Climate action challenge WDCD is looking for life- changing solutions in adapting humankind into the climate change.
