Programming Fonts You Need to Try

Most programmer have their own favorite editor’s color scheme, but some of them didn’t give much attention to the font they are using. Maybe the default font is good enough or simply didn’t have the time to look for one.

In this post I will share some free and paid fonts which I have tried and found in my journey so far, so sit back and prepare your favorite code editor.

Monoid is the first font I found when I’m bored with default fonts. it include ligatures just like Fira Code and little bit of customization. The style is not for everyone though, it’s either love or hate at first sight.

Unique font with “wibbly-wobbly handwriting-like fuzziness”. Remind me of fantasy medieval writing.

Similar to Monoid, Iosevka is either love or hate at first sight. For me it’s pretty cool looking font with very cool ligatures.
