Introducing Konjure, the Website Builder of the Blockchain

At Konjure, we’re firm believers in the importance of a new, decentralized Web. User privacy, security, and freedom should all be certainties, but the current model falls short of each.

With various cryptocurrencies surfacing and pushing this initiative further, we need to start preparing for mass adoption. Technology that’s designed to be more secure, censorship-resistant, cheaper, and faster isn’t just for trading virtual cats.

This is where Konjure comes in. We’re a small, strong team with an ambitious goal to create the first website builder that runs decentralized websites. By streamlining the process from site creation to hosting on a peer-to-peer network, your average blog or online t-shirt shop could become a part of the Decentralized Web in a matter of minutes.

Adoption

One of the largest problems in the cryptocurrency space is the learning curve.

“Hey, come build a website with Konjure! Oh, but before you do, you need to find a fiat exchange to purchase cryptocurrency, transfer that to a different exchange to purchase KONJ, then transfer the KONJ back here. Good luck!”

That would be silly. Unfortunately, it’s the reality for a lot of platforms. This is an issue our team has had many in-depth discussions about. To solve this, we’re launching KONJ, our utility token, that will act as the primary currency inside of our ecosystem that all other currencies shift into.

This means that the average Joe who knows nothing about cryptocurrency can purchase goods on a user’s website, build his own website, and use Konjure to its full extent with whichever currency he prefers. This includes fiat money.

Behind the scenes, everything that runs through the Konjure ecosystem is shifted into KONJ tokens, providing our users with one simple currency. This, of course, leads into our primary use cases.

Use Cases

As an open source platform that will constantly be updated and improved, we could list hundreds of potential use cases. Let’s stick to the top 3, for now.

1. Platform-wide Currency: As explained above, KONJ acts as the backbone currency inside our decentralized network of websites.
2. Website Builder: Whether you want to build an online shop or a personal blog, Konjure will provide the tools to do it all. With KONJ, you can unlock new features to improve your web presence.
3. Plugin Bazaar: Konjure’s “Bazaar”, a plugin marketplace, will be an area where developers can sell website addons that are created using our API. Users can spend KONJ to gain access to these plugins. Given the ability to develop with our token, the possibilities are endless.

Decentralization

Konjure isn’t here to reinvent the wheel — our goal is to create a robust website builder, then work closely with 3rd party projects to deploy our sites on a peer-to-peer network.

To become a truly decentralized platform, the Konjure ecosystem will eventually be maintained and operated by all those who use it. This means that we will not have the ability to delete or censor websites as we please.

To ensure our users are safe and secure, we’re putting a system in place that allows anyone with KONJ tokens to flag malicious or illegal websites. If a website receives enough flags, it will automatically display a warning to users before they access it.

As we develop Konjure from its infancy to full release, we encourage and reward community involvement.

Innovations

Although we’ll be the first website builder for decentralized websites, we want to make sure we’re innovating on what other builders have done in the past. We want users to feel rewarded for switching to a decentralized space with new and exciting features.

Blockchain isn’t the only powerful technology on the rise. Machine learning is being incorporated into numerous big data companies around the globe, and we want to take advantage of the benefits that can come from it.

We’re throwing themes and templates in the trash. It’s time to have a website that’s crafted specifically for you. With artificial intelligence, we can accomplish this by taking in details about your project and generating a unique website that has never been seen before.

So, when do we start?

Our user-interface kit Konjure UI, which will be incorporated into our website builder, has been in development since November 2017. Our site was created using our own technology we will continue work on it as we begin our main project.

Konjure will be holding a token sale in three stages:

1. Private Presale (Q3 2018)
2. Token Presale (Q4 2018)
3. Token Sale (Q1 2019)
