The entire Konjure team and I are happy to announce the official release of our prototype desktop application. With development lead by our Director of Engineering Connor Hollasch, we’re able to push out a preview of what Konjure is going to accomplish in the future.

In this early version, there are two functional sections — Gateway and Nodes.

Gateway:

The Gateway allows users to upload full website directories to the Decentralized Web. Although it doesn’t support computing yet, static websites can be viewed live through IPFS.

Nodes:

Users can run nodes to help maintain the Konjure network. Eventually, these nodes will be rewarded with KONJ tokens for storing and serving content.

Konjure is an open source project and can be found on Github.

Feel free to upload your very own website to Web 3, it’s waiting for you! Please join our Telegram group for bug reports: https://t.me/konjure
