Whiskey is an age-old Welsh tradition…

All the way back in the 19th century, the rise of the temperance movement also had a huge impact on the Welsh whiskey industry. The last notable distillery in the country at that time, the Welsh Whisky Distillery in Frongoch, was sold in 1900. The distillery was eventually liquidated in 1910. The current critical praise and appreciation for Welsh’s Penderyn’s whiskey is notable since it is the first commercially available Welsh whiskey for nearly 100 years.

Great traditions always stay alive.

With knowledge, we stop being consumers and start being connoisseurs.
