A great island wine…

Did you know that New Zealand wine is produced in several winegrowing regions across that country. The unique elongated island geography in the South Pacific Ocean results in maritime climates with considerable regional variation from north to south. Like many other New World wines, it is usually produced and labelled as single varietal wines. New Zealand is best known for its Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, a great wine indeed, and more recently its dense, concentrated Pinot Noir from the regions of Marlborough, Martinborough, and Central Otago.

An interesting region with interesting wine.

With knowledge, we stop being consumers and start being connoisseurs.
