Design Over Drinks, Creating Opportunity for Smart City Citizens

Thanks to all of you who joined us for Design Over Drinks, Creating Opportunity for the #SmartCity Citizen. At Konrad+King, we believe that the success of smart cities centers on creating smarter citizens, where technology is used to make their lives better, easier, and more successful.

City employees, technologists, designers, and citizens took part in a design charrette that enabled them to rapidly create concepts for a smarter San Diego based on citizen need, technology, and data.

We saw some great concepts for helping the homeless, connecting and engaging citizens through next generation community centers, improving city services through technology, improving transportation, developing a richer culture, and on and on.

We hope that everyone came away a little smarter and took back their ideas and new found knowledge to put to good use at their own companies.
