In most organizations, there are artifacts intended to instruct staff on what to do or avoid doing in the digital space. From ensuring privacy to sound behavior on social media, well-intentioned technical writers, digital managers, and business analysts have created pages upon pages of guidance. Sometimes they are presented as PDFs, sometimes they are web pages scattered around the intranet, and at other times they are print-outs passed down from an employee who left years ago.

If this description strikes a note because your organization takes a similar approach, you should consider creating a centralized, digital repository with all governance resources. Not only will you enable digital workers to self-service to guidance, but I guarantee you will have a higher rate of compliance.
