DAOs have been one of the biggest latest trends in the crypto space. Everyday Crypto and Web3 continue to gain popularity, however there are many who do not understand the impact and revolution that DAOs represent.

First, what is a DAO?
A Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) is an entity of people built for the same purpose, with the same interests, and is coordinated through the Internet using the block chain.
There are many successful DAOs that build communities for artists, lawyers, content creators and even degens. Any group of people with a common goal can create a DAO, share a treasury and, through voting, manage the funds and make decisions. Decentralized governance is the key to this new way of interacting.
What is Krause House DAO?
In the case of Krause House, we are a community of hoops fans who are crazy enough to buy an NBA team. For our members, being a basketball fan is not enough. This is a squad made of wet jumpers and cheeky crossovers who refuse to sit on the sidelines.
Krause House is positioning itself as the leading sports DAO.We firmly believe that collaboration is a key element in Web3. KH Accelerator is a platform that allows us to support and work with communities of different sports such as soccer, boxing or Formula 1.
We acquired the Ball Hogs, a team from the BIG3 league with the intention of taking it to the top and proving that you can manage a team through an online community.
We’ve attended in person events, like NFT.NYC, allowing us to connect with different companies and people who share our vision.
As Krause House grows and expands, we continue to onboard more basketball and Web3 fans to win the championship!

Governance and Vote
Think of Krause House as a team manager. This directive is divided into departments and each one defines its tasks. In this link you will be able to find some of the open tasks that the DAO needs support with. If there is an area where you can provide your expertise, we welcome you to join the conversation and contribute.
DAOs usually distribute the funds among different projects and people. There are also bounties for those who want to contribute sporadically. In the link below you will find the different KH pillars and projects at stake. One of the great things about working in a DAO is the flexibility and individual growth. There isn’t a set schedule or a boss you report to. Instead you collaborate with others and leverage the tools available to achieve the common goals.
How do you vote at Krause House?
One of the most used tools in DAOs is Snapshot. Snapshot is where you can find all the different proposals made by members of the KH community and make your vote.
Voting power is determined by the number of Krause tokens you have. In addition to getting it by helping the DAO, you can buy it on different exchanges and thus become an investor/management member. $KRAUSE allows you to participate in the governance of Krause House and help lead the DAO where you think it is best.
The other way to gain voting power and reputation within the DAO is by obtaining NFT membership tickets. In the next article we will delve into the two collections that Krause House has launched and I will explain the enormous number of benefits they offer to holders.
