What is CRIF High Mark?

CRIF is a global Credit Bureau having presence in predominantly in the Europe and Asia-Pacific region. High Mark was founded in 2007 in India and obtained the Certification of Registration to operate as a credit bureau in 2010 from Reserve Bank of India. In 2014, CRIF acquired a majority stake in High Mark and the bureau’s name in India changed to CRIF High Mark.

Initially, it started as predominantly a Micro Finance Institution (MFI) credit bureau but had diversified into corporate and consumer credit bureau business soon.

CRIF High Mark Credit Scores Meanings

A Crif High Mark score is divided into multiple ranges:

300–500: This score indicates that the customer is very risky, and the lenders will probably not be lending to such customers.

500–700: This indicate that the customer may have some payment delays and defaults. Lenders are expected to consider customers in this range as risky and some lenders may not extend their loans to such customers.

700–850: Customers with a score in this range are considered to have very good repayment behaviour. In addition, they are expected to have multiple loan types and have exhibited good behaviour across multiple loan accounts. Lenders consider these customers as safe customers.

850+: Customers having this score are considered to be excellent and they need to have an impeccable record to get scores like these. All type of loans and all types of banks should extend loans to such customers.

How can I access my CRIF High Mark Credit Score?

Follow the steps below to access your CRIF High Mark credit score:

1.Go to https://cir.crifhighmark.com/Inquiry/B2C/B2CFFCRPortal.action
2.Provide the required details. During the process, select the free report option.
3.On clicking the submit button, your request will be sent to CRIF High Mark. The report should be sent to your email inbox within 7 working days.
