There is a pretty “gloomy” truth that most traders can not succeed. Actually speaking, the field is the same, 80% of the results usually come from the 20% group under the 80:20 rule. Trading, this number may even be 90/10.
But why only a few% of traders can hit the glory, but the rest is not?
1. Believing in the magic of the holy grail
This chivalry theme has been discussed a lot, and it has also caused controversy. But I have to repeat again. Simply because it is one of the main reasons to turn a trader into a gambler and forever not be able to become professional or successful.
The holy grail is defined as a method / strategy / indicator / tip, … or anything that can help you achieve a high or 100% victory. Why does this cup not exist? Because it goes against the nature of the market. The market is the emotional complex of millions of people, so it’s a coincidence. Ask a cup can accurately predict the mentality of millions of people out there exist? Or is it just a symbol of greed?
2. Lack of knowledge
I’m not talking about newbies. They do not have enough trading knowledge yet. I’m talking about groups that have a lot of time with trading, but still refuse to improve their knowledge.
Trading knowledge is not only a few green candles dancing on the screen. It’s a lot bigger. You do not need to know everything, but you need to constantly update knowledge, because that is the only way to level up a new level.
3. Minimize the problem of capital management
A company to succeed, the first thing that the company needs to do is not to create profitable lines that survive, stay on the market. If you want to trade to get big profits from some “holy” with 50% risk trading is not right for you. Any trade exceeding 10% risk will face the risk of bankruptcy quickly. Tough capital management does not help you make money fast, but over time it gives you a huge asset block.
