Why You Should Eat Your Amygdala.

When a young boy grows up, he is limited by the resources he has laid out before him. Born as a blank canvas, he can only pick up the challenges of his predecessors; from habits, environments, hereditary traits and morals.

The Amygdala is the fight and flight centre of the brain. When you have anxiety, many things go through your mind and it passes through this module of the brain. Although, if you were to get rid of it, you would most likely go insane and die.
Fear and Anxiety are similarly distinguished; sometimes an Anxiety Disorder can trigger the Amygdala and a seemingly incoherent sense of survival is triggered, should you fight or run away from the situation? Either way, it seems that we fight or flight out of fear.
I don’t condone auto-cannibalism of any sort, but the Amygdala can take a hike. Is it because we become hardwired in our stressful habits or is it a sensitive Amygdala?

We cannot control the wind or the waves, if we must get to the other side to reach our goals, we must endure them.

Like an Anchor, fear and anxieties keep us idle. We can only control everything that we can see around us; our arms are only so long.
