The KRWb team is pleased to announce QCP Capital as our first KRWb Issuance Partner. The two teams have been collaborating over the past few months and have come together to support global market liquidity for KRWb. QCP Capital will support direct inquiries for KRWb OTC trades, as well as offer on-exchange liquidity as KRWb continues with its exchange listings. They will be able to support retail users and corporate clients both inside of Korea and throughout the broader global market.

Given that the number of Issuance Partners will be limited, the KRWb team has set the bar extremely high for those wishing to become an Issuance Partner. While the KRWb team is solely responsible for maintaining and managing the fiat treasury of KRW on-shore in Korea, Issuance Partners play a critical role to supporting market liquidity within the KRWb ecosystem.
KRWb Issuance Partners will have the ability to mint and redeem KRWb based on a 1:1 ratio with any fiat deposits or withdrawals they make. In addition, Issuance Partners are the go-to parties for KRWb availability, market liquidity via on-exchange trading, OTC direct trades and more.
