Hello KRWb Community!
The KRWb launch has been an amazing journey for the entire team, one that started to formalize back in summer of 2018. At only two weeks post-launch, the community reception has far exceeded our expectations. We’ve been busy sorting through a variety of inbound interest from users, press, TV show outlets, exchanges, financial institutions and various global partnership opportunities.
Going forward, we plan to keep the community regularly apprised to what we’re working on and lay out ways you can help solve our top of mind challenges to growth.
Validating the KRWb Stablecoin Functionality
The biggest success resulting from the KRWb launch and exchange listings has been market confirmation on our ability to maintain a close price peg to the underlying fiat KRW in our treasury. As a team, we are confident we’re on the right track to building a healthy stablecoin and are continuing to develop the right partnerships in order to ensure constant improvement on this front.
Exchange Listings Road Map
We chose to learn how to walk before we start to run. We carefully planned our first listings on the initial exchanges for controlled market testing. KRWb can now be acquired on-exchange via Coblic, BEQUANT, AirSwap, and Fordex. We plan to add one new exchange before end of February and have further exciting plans lined up for March and beyond.
Community Support: Establishing Additional Distribution Channels
The top of mind challenge this week, which will be a never ending activity, is increasing the market availability and ease of access to KRWb. Even with our initial distribution channel, not everyone has access to KRWb.
We hope to work together with our community to push and grow our market liquidity options— whether via introductions to new users, exchanges, market makers, OTC desks or beyond, the collective network of our community will always be farther reaching than what we can achieve in isolation.
