& Sneak Peak into Krystal’s 1st NFT Collection?

Krystal fam, you asked and we delivered — NFT support is now live across all Krystal apps!

This update enables users to view their NFTs from most sources on Ethereum, BSC and Polygon. Amongst the most popular sources are CryptoPunks & CryptoKitties on Ethereum, FaraLand on BSC, PolygonPunks on Polygon and OpenSea (Ethereum & Polygon).

NFTs on Krystal

Whilst planning where to include this feature on the platform, we made sure to keep navigating the Krystal platform intuitive for users.

On the website, all digital assets in your imported wallet are displayed on the ‘Summary’ screen. By toggling between the ‘Assets’ and ‘NFT’ tabs, users can access their NFTs.

On mobile applications, the home screen can be configured to display users’ preferred view of either ‘Wallet Assets’, ‘Supplied Assets’, ‘Market’ or ‘Favourite Tokens’. NFT is now added as another display view option.

In addition to viewing your NFTs, you can also:

✔ Receive NFTs

Click on ‘Receive’
Scan or copy the wallet address, provide it to the sender, and wait for on-chain confirmation.
Once confirmed on-chain, navigate to the ‘NFTs’ screen and you will see your NFT displayed.

✔ Transfer NFTs:

Tap on the collectible
Click the ‘Transfer’ button and enter the recipient’s wallet address

Sending an NFT means transferring its ownership to the recipient, so make sure to always double-check the address. Ensure it is a valid address compatible with the respective token standards on Ethereum, BSC or Polygon (eg. ERC-721 / ERC-1155 / BEP-721 / BEP-1155).

The Krystal Dinosaur NFT Collection

If you are party to the Krystal Telegram group, you will be no stranger to our Krystal Dinosaur — often caught displaying a myriad of emotions in sticker form.

Naturally, Krystal’s 1st NFT collection will be modelled after none other than, the Krystal Dinosaur. Each Krystal Dinosaur NFT will be unique with a set of traits to define rarity, and the overall number of the collection will be limited.

As the collection is still fossilizing (pun intended) in its initial stage, they are not available to be minted yet. BUT, we can’t help but share a sneak peak! Since NFT Support going live coincides with our recently concluded Game Token Trading Campaign — Enter the Metaverse, we will be giving away the firsts of our Krystal Dinosaurs to participants with the highest trade volume. The top 50 participants will win a Krystal Dinosaur NFT each.

What’s Next?

Following the conclusion of our seed funding round in August, one of our initiatives in the forefront was supporting NFTs. As a platform that aims to provide access to all popular DeFi services, pervasiveness of NFTs and GameFi in today’s DeFi space were great motivators for introducing this new feature on Krystal.

Today’s update is the first step; you can expect future developments on the NFT front, which includes integrating with other projects to introduce a NFT Marketplace on Krystal.
