All-time high number of students enrolled at School of Business, KU in 2024

Fall 2024 marked another record number of enrolled students in the KU School of Business, bolstered by an all-time high number of first-time freshmen.

Up 12% from fall 2023, the School of Business has 4,404 students. The school’s overall enrollment includes 3,699 undergraduate students and 705 graduate students. The number of the school’s first-time freshmen grew 13.1% from the previous fall to 1,053. The school’s one-year retention rate of first-time freshmen is 90.8%.

KU’s overall enrollment also is at its highest in history this fall with 30,770 students, marking an increase of 4.8%. The university’s record-setting freshman class includes 5,323 students, and it retained 86.5% of last year’s freshmen.
