With this latest release of KubOS, we are excited to announce that we’ve opened our community Trello board! If you’ve been looking for how to get involved with Kubos or what we’re working on to improve KubOS, it’s the tool for you. You can see what features are landing soon, report bugs that you find, and even grab something yourself to work on and contribute. If you’ve been looking for a way to get your code in space, this is the perfect opportunity!

Rust File Service

The KubOS team is also happy to introduce the Rust version of the File Service. This is a major milestone in our conversion to Rust, and we’re happy to bring the strengths of Rust to such an important part of our system.

Mission Applications Examples

Wondering what a mission application should do? Trying to figure out how to begin, or how it fits into your CONOPS? Check out the new Rust and Python examples for the absolute basics, or the larger Python example demonstrating usage.

For all the other changes, as always, check out the full release notes. For all other info, come talk to us on Slack. We’d love to talk about your project, contributing to KubOS, or just nerding out about space!
