WORKSHOP ON COMPUTER SKILLS DEVELOPMENT

Kathmandu University Computer Club organized one day workshop at Shree Janak Secondary School at Namobuddha, Kavre. The workshop was targeted to grade 10 students of the school. The workshop completed with very good responses from the students and the administration. The workshop focused on the Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and HTML. The students were willing to study more but due to lack of time, we had to conclude the workshop. The headmaster has promised us to make similar workshops in the future with the collaboration from Kathmandu University Computer Club.
The students in the same class were of a different level. Some of them were familiar with HTML but some of them were unaware of the internet which was a big challenge of the workshop. Our team worked so well that, we divided the section into seven groups where a group consisted of students of the same level and each group was guided by a volunteer.
