Kratos Validator BitCat Initiated an on-chain Proposal for the KTSt Slash Event
Dear KuChain Community,
On December 14, 2020, Kratos validator Bit Cat initiated an on-chain proposal for the KTSt slash event.
On November 19, 2020, during the repair process of Kratos beta network, 4 Kratos validating nodes triggered validator double signing Slash punishment at block height 657926 validate rounds, causing the destruction of approximately 2,000,000 KTSt (Kratos Beta Test Token) pledged.
Bit Cat thought that since this problem is not subjectively caused by the concerned validating nodes, and the slashed asset has been destroyed and cannot be technically recovered. Therefore, Bit Cat applied for the use of Kratos Testnet Development Reserve to recover the amount of slashed KTSt of both Kratos nodes and KTSt holders, with a recovery ratio of 1:1.
This proposal is currently in the voting period. KuChain Community will continue to update the details of the proposal voting.
