This biweekly report summarizes the dynamics of KuChain from December 26, 2020 to January 08, 2021, including development progress, the punished KTSt recovery situation. Welcome to learn details!🌞

⭐01. Development Progress⭐

Chain Upgrading Support

• In order to facilitate the migration of the on-chain ledger, considering the better support to the chain’s restart and upgrade in the future, KIT realized the dex branch’s genesis import function.

Cosmos Upgrade

• It was mentioned in the last KuChain Biweekly Report that KIT sorted out the important changes in Cosmos-sdk v0.40.x and planned the preparatory work related to upgrade and refactoring. Recently, KIT refactored part of the code and fixed the AccountID interface problem.

⭐02. Community Updates⭐

🎈KuChain activated the Kratos Testnet Development Reserve to recover the punished KTSt, with a recovery ratio of 1:1

31/12/2020, KuChain released a community announcement to notify community members that KuChain will use the Kratos Testnet Development Reserve to recover the amount of punished KTSt for both Kratos nodes and KTSt holders (with a recovery ratio of 1:1) within 6 working days.

From 31/12/2020 to 05/01/2021, KuChain activated the Kratos Testnet Development Reserve and completed the recovery of the amount of about 2243398 punished KTSt, with a recovery ratio of 1:1.

For users delegated KTSt through Awake Wallet, KuChain has directly distributed the punished KTSt, with a recovery ratio of 1:1, to the on-chain address.

For users delegated KTSt through the Pool-X governance platform, Pool-X has distributed the corresponding KTSt (with a recovery ratio of 1:1) to users’ Pool-X accounts. The distributed KTSt includes the amount of punished KTSt initially delegated on the following nodes: poolxstaking, wetez123456 and hashquark123.
