League Lab x Kamengski Collaboration Preview
League Lab is a division of one of Indonesia’s largest shoe labels, League, which carries an experimental approach. The label had previously introduced collaborations with artists Muklay. This time, League Lab team up with Kamengski and release an exclusive preview. “I tried to describe Lamongan City, so that’s how it turned out, like the Nike Dunk SB Pigeon which tells the story of New York City, or the Adidas city series”. Said Sulaiman, the owner of Kamengski said to HYPEBEAST.
This special edition Kamengski removes a white stripe on the quarter panels and features a lot of new details such as reflective pull tabs on the heels, branded tabs on the tongue, and an image of a duck on the left heel and a chicken on the right applied using a thermoplastic mica material. The construction itself uses an upper made of suede with a clear green outsole.
The Kamengski x League Lab sneakers are reportedly ready to be released this month in limited quantities of 150 pairs.
