Vans by Vault & Notre Activated Sneakers Made Up from Cafe Drinks
Notre has launched the third collaboration with Vault by Vans. Following four Old Skool LX 2020 colorways, the Chicago-based retailer is releasing its “Best Served Together” collection inspired by the popular café drink.
This time, they released three colorways from OG Style 36 LX (Old Skool but with OG build). Notre aims to emphasize “the unique yet familiar ways in which each of us chooses to enjoy our favorite beverage in hopes of explaining the little things that connect us all.” This is done with “Espresso,” “Matcha,” and “Tea” colorways.
Both sides here raise the theme of café culture by referring to three popular drinks often ordered today, namely espresso, matcha, and tea. All three drinks play a role in the color of shoes they launch, which are also interpretations of each color. This concept is to shine a light on the little pleasures that connect us all, one of which is how we enjoy our drinks.
The Notre x Vans Vault OG Style 36 LX collection was launched on February 3 on the Notre website and in-store at Notre in Chicago.
