New Year, New Update

2019 has come and with the new year comes a new update! This one is the biggest we had since the last update so check out what’s new.

TAGS
Contents in KUMU can now be tagged based on the content they have so that users can search for the content they want.

DAILY CHECK IN
Everyday, users who open KUMU will get specific number of coins which they can use to give gifts. The increment will increase every 5 days of login so be sure to login everyday.

IMPROVED USER INTERFACE
We already removed redundant buttons in the app and add more exciting ones such as the rice icon on the explore page which will bring you to the game show landing page to earn more extra rice!

LO/HD OPTION
We started it with the game show and now it is available to regular live stream. Users with slow connection can use the low quality video option (LO) so that the live stream won’t consume a lot of data and prevent lagging during the shows.

PROFILE LINK
Have you wondered what your profile looks like from the view of other users? Now you can see it yourself by going to your profile tab and clicking on the “My Profile” link on the top right of the screen

USERNAME
It has been confusing for everyone to read all those emoticons and images on the display name so we decided to show the username instead on most major part of the app. Users can still show off their creativity on their display name as it is still shown on some parts of the app such as the profile, search, following, followers, mini profile on the live stream and like list.
