Don’t panic! Your kids teeth aren’t yellow!

Before we start telling off our kids for not brushing their teeth poorly, you need to know, that it’s probably not their fault. Sorry mom and dad ;).

When kids go through the transition, where they have baby teeth and adult teeth, their adult teeth will look very yellow.

Adult teeth are naturally more yellow (technically, more chromatic) than baby teeth. This creates the illusion that their teeth are yellow, especially when the teeth are next to each other.

But don’t worry, once their baby teeth come out, and their adult teeth are through, the yellowness is a lot less obvious than it is now.
