Are you one of those parents that keeps your kids teeth in a jar? Many people would think its a very odd practice, but in reality there might be some good in it.

Recent research has confirmed that there are viable stem cells within teeth, even once they’re out of your mouth. The dental pulp, which contains the nerves of the tooth, also contain stem cells.

These stem cells can be viable even after several years, and they have potential benefits of being able to regenerate limbs, muscle tissue, heart tissue and other organs once technology improves.

So will you be keeping your kids teeth or even your own for the long term? I certainly will.
