When To Stop Using Your Retainer

Never. Unless you want your teeth to move.

We are always growing and changing, and this doesn’t necessarily stop when we’re in our late twenties.

Of course most of our body changes occur during our early years, but it does not stop.

Consequently, as we get older, are teeth are still prone to moving — so you might be wearing your retainer longer than you thought.

Fixed Solution

Some retainers however, can be bonded in, eliminating the need to wear these at night. It’s definitely a great option if your kids if they’re almost done with their orthodontic treatment.

Ps: I one a fixed retainer on my lower and upper teeth too! It’s been there for almost 18 years.
