Enjin Wallet, a popular Ethereum Wallet, has integrated Kyber’s liquidity protocol to allow users to swap ERC20 tokens from within the Enjin wallet. Cryptocurrency wallets are an important gateway for people new to the blockchain space and Kyber is happy to support and contribute to efforts to expand services provided by these wallets. This integration, to be launched on 29 Jan 2019, demonstrates how Kyber enables token swapping functionality to be embedded into any wallet and DApp to provide a seamless user experience.

Enabling Decentralized Token Swaps Within Enjin Wallet

Enjin Wallet is a an Android and iOS crypto wallet that can hold multiple cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin as well as ERC-1155 and ERC-721 digital assets and virtual items. Enjin, the company behind the Enjin Wallet, is a blockchain game development platform with a network of 20 million users. Enjin is building a framework of software development kits (SDKs), wallets, game plugins, virtual item management apps, and a blockchain scaling solution to allow gaming companies to create, integrate, and manage tokenized gaming assets. It also builds useful tools to support developers including an ad-free Ethereum blockchain explorer called EnjinX.

Enjin Wallet’s integration with Kyber Network allows users to easily swap between more than 60 different ERC20 tokens (including Enjin Coin ‘ENJ’, a token that is used to create virtual goods with the Enjin platform) directly from the Enjin Wallet UI. This removes the need to first move tokens to 3rd party exchanges. Token swaps are done transparently and on-chain, and can be tracked and audited on kyber.enjinx.io .

How Enjin Wallet Is Using Kyber’s Trading API

Kyber’s Trading API is a REST API that allows developers straightforward access to Kyber’s on-chain liquidity protocol, allowing wallets and DApps to integrate through a much simpler process. Enjin Wallet accesses the API to query supported tokens, their conversion rates, and a transaction payload to seamlessly broadcast to the blockchain to execute on wallet users’ token swap requests.
