Craft Beer in America

With creating these maps, I tried to find a correlation between how much craft beer each state drinks and the number of craft breweries per state. I found that they very much indeed correlate with one another. although the findings are as one would expect with a basic knowledge of economics, the states that i thought would be higher on the list were actually on the bottom. I thought for sure that southern states would top the list given the stereotype that red necks drink a lot of beer. California had the most number of craft breweries, almost doubling the second place state, but per capita it averages out since California has such an enormous population.
