Out of the two week period of recording my phone use data using the Moment app, I learned a lot about myself and my phone use.

I was shocked to learn how much I use my phone. According to the app, I will spend 7.6 years of my life on my phone, which I find terrifying. I pick my phone up on average 68 times a day and use my phone 2 hour and 32 minutes a day. My least used app is Snapchat. I used Snapchat on average 7 minutes a day. I used Reddit and Twitter an average of 58 minutes a day.

As I continue learning about social media and psychology, and overall technology use, I will get to the bottom on why so many people, including myself, are so addicted to our phones.
