This guide will provide you with all the necessary information to participate in the Sunrise incentivized testnet and start using the testnet application.
About The Sunrise Awakening Testnet
Sunrise is a specialized Data Availability (DA) layer for Proof of Liquidity (PoL). This incentivized testnet provides users with a unique opportunity to explore and experience the Sunrise app prior to the mainnet launch. Participants in the testnet will be eligible for Wave 4 of the $RISE airdrop, which will receive the largest allocation to reward the earliest users.
Sunrise is designed for daily use, allowing you to repeat each task on the testnet daily. Consistently completing these tasks maximizes your points. A leaderboard will track the most active testnet users, fostering competition. While all participants will benefit, those who follow the leaderboard closely will likely emerge as the top performers.
Getting Started with The Sunrise Testnet
- Visit the Sunrise Testnet App
- Access the Sunrise testnet app 👉 HERE.
2. Connect Your Wallet(s)
- To access the Sunrise testnet and faucet, connect two wallets: an EVM wallet (e.g., Metamask) and a Cosmos wallet (e.g., Keplr, Leap).
- Click “Connect Wallet” for 1st wallet connecting and click “Manage Wallet” for 2nd wallet connecting to connect both wallets.
IMPORTANT: Your EVM wallet must have at least one transaction history and a minimum of 0.001 ETH on the Ethereum Mainnet.
Performing Sunrise Testnet Activities
Sunrise testnet participants should complete the following activities to test Sunrise’s functionality. These activities can (and should) be completed daily.
- Claim Testnet Tokens
- After connecting your wallets, navigate to “Faucet” to claim testnet tokens.
Note: You can claim 10 $RISE from the testnet faucet every 24 hours.
2. Swap Testnet Tokens
- Click on the “Swap” tab to view the Sunrise swap interface.
- Swap $RISE for other assets such as $ATOM, $USDC, $USDT.
3. Provide Liquidity
- Click on the “Liquidity Pool” tab to view the liquidity pool interface.
- Deposit eligible testnet assets into pools like ATOM/RISE, RISE/USDC, RISE/USDT, USDT/USDC, and etc.
- Depositing in these LPs earns you vRISE rewards.
4. Participate in Governance
- Click on the “Governance” tab to manage and delegate vRISE tokens earned from providing liquidity.
- Viewing and voting on proposals is currently inactive.
- Staked vRISE can be unlocked and swapped for $RISE.
5. Referral Program
- Click on the “Point Program” tab to view your earned testnet points and copy your unique referral link.
- Earn more points and move up the leaderboard by referring new users to Sunrise using your referral link.
- Successful referrals require the referee to complete a certain number of testnet tasks.
